This is podcasted type website. Hi, I’m Marc, owner of Wild Ambience. I’m a professional nature sound recordist based in Sydney, Australia.
Recording the sounds of the natural world is my passion. From capturing vibrant habitat soundscapes to the voices of individual species, I love tracking down rare and captivating sound. In a world where man-made noise is ever pervasive, finding pristine wild sound can be a challenge and my work often involves travel to remote locations.
My sound recordings have been used in wildlife documentaries, films, musical compositions, museum exhibits, sound art installations, birding apps and more. More information on my commercial work can be found on the ‘License Nature Sounds‘ page.
